Well, the thing about TVs is I make their backs fall off
But if I find any cool ones I'll post a pic.
Also TPAK2, the last photo you posted, is that a radio turner in the TV? The only ones I have ever seen are small travel units that have a black and white picture.

I am with Dee, what is a holiday lady?

I'm guessing it's the same as a kid sitter.(Didn't want to use the "B" word.)

I think there is a thick line between quality old Tv's and the tv's that are junk from the 90's / early 2000's. I wouldn't collect any of those mass made tvs. I can see collecting a nice old floor model tv however.

Do you always get up so early TPAK ? I thought about you when I saw Jack's latest video. I knew you would drool over that one. If I ever find a small old one like that, I'm going to ask for donations from the forum so I can ship it to you !! How is the statue coming along ?

i have an early 1950s RCA Victor model 17-t-310 that i salvaged from my grandmas old house. it looks to good to scrap(ive been real close several times),but i dont really have a use for it. its too cool to use for target practice,so it just takes up space in my shed. if i could work this keyboard as good as i work a hatchet, i would post a pict of it.

Reading this again reminded me of the TV setup I had as a kid. I was able to scrounge 2 old Vacuum tube B&W TV's. One had a picture but no sound and one had sound but no picture! I stacked them up with the working picture one on top. They were both tuned by Knobs and were hooked to a single set of bunny ears. Changing channels SUCKED!

On the plus side with both of those sets full of glowing vacuum tubes my room was always toasty warm in the winter!

Still have the vacuum tubes out of them too!
