First load

well a little background info my grandfather owns a junkyard but i moved 3 hours away to a city so scrapping cars runs in the family . i recently switched jobs having more free time on my hands ive decided to get into the scrap business. i picked up a 01 Chev Malibu for 200 bucks . as looking around in the car i found 3 dollars in loose change, the warranty papers for the dead battery under the hood. cut the cut off and got a good set of winter tires.
brought the car in this morning for scrap my local yard is giving 170 a ton
so i got 270 $
sold the battery for 40 plus a catalytic converter off a 95 gmc 2500
not sure of the value of the cat i cut off the car
have the tires for sale for 100 on kijiji

so first load and i made a profit

where u located i'm getting $275/ton

Halifax nova scotia Canada wish i was getting that much if i had the resources to haul everthing down to my yard a 3 hour drive away i could get alot more but also cost me more
