    cpu's

was going through the basement at work and found some old comps. boss said take them, got 5 comp. towers and what looks to be a server tower? bout the same size as a comp. tower, but longer and a lot heavier. Now, just have to go through the forum and find all the stuff that I have to take off and seperate. Also may be getting all the old monitors (4), old printers (10+) and a dinosaur of a copy machine (things almost 4 ft. tall). Not to mention I got a working digital scale, all free.

Be sure to pull all the toner/ink cartridges out first before you start tearing them down or you'll end up looking like a big blue smurf from the toner powder/ink.

lol, thanks a lot, probably wouldn't have thought about that. I'm working on the server tower now, at least i think thats what it is, had 6 slots in the front for hard drives, 4 were occupied, 3 36 gb, and a 73 gb, now to tear into the back of what ever this is.

Someone over yonder tore one down in his bathroom (?) and ended up with blue powder all over.
yeah, the toner bottle is out but there is still some spillage Im trying not to get it on me too much. last time that happened with the printer I ruined my cloths!
Hey, if you get toner on something, try washing the toner off with cold water and avoid rubbing. Heat and pressure set the toner.
Yeah boy that stuff is messy - one broke and I didn't know it after breaking one down and it leaked all over the garage all the way down to the street. What a freaking mess to clean up. Next day my son got off the bus, walked through the grass where the printer had sat and re-tracked ink up the driveway, into the garage and house hitting every rug on the way. then there were the dogs tied up outside at the time he walked by them. *Facepalm*
