    tvs are fun to collect too, better than stamps, i have 6 tvs so far

    I'd say there is such danger at every door step with them.
    The shock can be real . The best part is you hear it first for the fraction of the second it's on its way A 9v battery can kill you under the right conditions. so a TV can CAUSE DEATH . Then there are the particulates (dust) the gases, the glass can cause tendon damaging cuts If you are asking about copper in a TV , WELL you are asking the wrong question see there is value in all appliances , Ask questions as to how to safely deal with any appliance
