Hi. I Used the search but couldnt find anything. Why is tin so much more valuable than other metals? I have about 15 ton of ferrous metal and some of it could be tin. What appliance or machine is tin used on? Thanks.

It may not be what you think. Although often called "tin", sheet metal is iron. Even tin foil is not made of tin. Tin is used as a coating for other metals and not used by itself.
This may help: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tin
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.
