    I'll B**Ch about laws that stop me from taking from curb or a dumpster . But all jokes aside the law for taking metal needs no more tweaking - if you steal a cop will enforce , & if your a regular scraper there will be enough sales records for police to just assume all your items might be stolen.

    It's called humor, obvious this is sarcastic - to a point that a real thief might learn that stealing is wrong - cause if people are going to make fun of what some individuals look to do as much as they can - it might make them think or feel guilty that instead of being a part of the joke - They are the Joke !!

    You call this a joke? This just shows your true lack of creativity but do seem to make a joke of yourself in the interim.

    Theft is no joke! It's costing each and everyone a great deal of money! It is not humorous in the least to make jokes about theft.

    I know the areas i drive that i have become a local fixture . I know when i drag a TV in to the car, to your average person it looks sad sap . but i have a push to find the items . For sure I don't lose any sleep over the transformer ,I DON'T wake up each day saying i need to get it , I have no desire for it, sure I'd love to take one apart ,
    Some times humor about an obvious wrong is the reverse psychology that can convince people to do right.
    Tell a child ,don't you jump off that tree you will get hurt ,well once your back is turned jump they do. Now tell them lets have some fun, climb up that tree and jump they look at you like you are crazy.not sure if there is a right or wrong to this discussion but in our society certainly there are rules to tell us in no uncertain terms what to do . yet people still do what they want .
    Laugh, and the world laugh with you,
    Weep, and you weep alone.
    For the sad old earth must borrow it's mirth,
    but has trouble enough of it's own.
    Sing, and the hills will answer;
    Sign, it is lost on the air;
    The echoes bound to a joyful sound
    but shrink from voicing care.

    Some people ar way too uptight. This is so typical for modern day american mentality that leaves us forced at work to wish happy holidays instead of merry xmas. I say f' it. if you cant take a joke then i have no time to explain the joke to you. Im not gonna wish you happy holidays and im not gonna try to explain to you why this post was funny.

    It's called a dry type transformer & considered low voltage with aluminum windings probably could have some value, but if they were real valuable they would be sold fast . the transformer i saw is round on the street pole type . I inquired and was told can't sell to public. I see them on ebay

    A "joke" is not what this is. This was someone who wanted attention, that's all.

    It was a joke , each day i pick up my trinkets in the dumpster there are more and more transformers . some are even small. I like the feeling that the workers trust me when they see the comings and goings of me .
    I hope no one does take them as it could change a rule as to no body on property.
    I am going to pick up a 30 pack of bud for the workers at the building as i feel the dumpster has made a difference in my life. I could ask them to put aside and i could pay them something as i see there is small metal only container there but i know that yard is only paying as mix & it has more then that . I could pay the mix price or a .1 over and sell as short after a little work and also there is AL CU .
