Been working with a new contact of mine for pc parts and today he call's me from an auction saying he has 300 pounds of wire if i'm interested. I tell him HELL yes and head over on my lunch break.
Well i get their and it's not 100% wire but a mix of wire, power bricks, small switch's and other wire type things.
I was able to purchase everything he had 798.7 pounds worth for $500.
I get $1.06 a pound for unstripped wire at my yard and $1.28 per pound for anything over 250 pounds.
I know i can strip it for a larger profit but i don't have a machine and to do this amount of wire is out of the question. Im just looking to flip it quick for some fast cash.
Going to process it all tonight with my wife. I cant wait to see the total profit from this. I'm estimating a profit of 700 after processing. Ill update the thread when i head over to my yard tomorrow afternoon.
