Is it alum windings in the motor? Thats all I seem to find in them. I would say the skimmer is aluminum. My yard calls it A1-junk shop

    pool motors

Fom the few that I have done it seems that some of the end caps are all cast aluminun and that others have a bearing that is magnetic. Trying to determine if its worth it to break them down. I just had a friend that is in the pool business lay 20 on me at no cost. If they average 30 pounds apiece that would be around 120 /150 dollars as is.

Pretty sure those would be SS cause alum screws would corrode after awhile.
