Might have just hit a solid score

Been slow but steady for me lately with calls from people looking to sell various electronic scrap. A few nice purchases but nothing to out of the ordinary. Got an email yesterday evening from a guy who said he was doing some cleaning in the basement and had a couple hundred pounds of stuff. Wasn't to sure what to expect but there was potential so I decided to skip sleeping in today and make the 45 min drive to meet him.

Turns out the guy has his own IT business and works with a number of large companies. Turned out to be my best single purchase so far, lot's of goodies I can't wait to tear in to. Just before I started packing up my truck he asked me if I had any interest in satellite phones, I said sure.

This is the exact same phone....

    I have 15 of them
Some still in the box, have plugged a few in and so far they seem to be fully functional.

Thanks guys, ended up getting another call and grabbing another 35lbs of motherboards and a couple pounds of RAM this afternoon.

I buy most things by weight. Towers and Laptops I pay per unit.

After gas I'm in a little over $300 on this lot. If that ebay link I posted is an accurate indicator moving 3 of the phones should put me at about break even Even at far less I should do well on this one.
