    Hot head

For the first time i found a A**H
I see a couch being tossed out (a recliner ) & its pretty much apart already .I remove the center portion . and start dragging it to car , it's around 7 ft long and a metal base . It's next to my car and a guy comes out from the house says my friends a sheriff and if the couch is still in the street your A** is grass . He takes a picture of my plate & me ( I smile) ( he says cheese to me ) and the couch . I say to him what do you think I am just going to leave it in the street . I said at least the trash men don't have to pick it up now. Guy goes back into house .
If that individual starts any S*** I'm gonna say he told me he is doing a documentary of street pickers for a utube video & I agreed !! thats why I smiled .

Sounds like the guy is a real jerk, decided to give you a hard time right off the bat rather than just talking to you politely to begin with to see what the scoop was.

I can completely understand why someone would come out and make sure you didn't make a mess. I have seen it a number of times in my neighourhood where people will put a pullout couch at the curb with the metal frame inside and by the next morning a discourteous scrapper has come along, ripped the metal out and made a nice mess on the persons lawn, sidewalk and road.

Hope you don't get any more headaches from this **** copper head.

Also I think you handled the situation perfectly, smiled and didn't loose your cool. No sense it turning a minor annoyance into a big pain.

He would have been more mad , as I guess he heard me dragging it to the car , It was 10 am and he told me he was sleeping. I think he just over reacted as he saw i had it at other side of street struggling to pick up. The couch was nasty & wet .I think I was a personal annoyance to him of people who make money from peoples discarded belongings.
There was this arrogant sinister attitude i felt from him . I felt some fear so my instincts were tweaked from him .When i get a feeling of fear as i yank up a wet nasty couch that is well beyond selling at salvation army or good will thats a problem . I kept my cool as i feel he wanted me to pick a fight with him , he was also big, as big as Robert from every body loves Raymond (TV show) kinda looks like him to.

I don't feel sorry for this guy.....If he does not want to deal with scrappers haul the couch to the dump or pay someone to haul it off.....I can't stand these lazy people that just drag **** to the curb and then expect someone not to go through it....
