Today......
Bought 21 lith/ion laptop batts for 5 bucks, also got 3 brass figurines and a big brass candleholder and a bent up copper fruit cake pan a box of chargers and misc wires for a total of 7.50 spent, then my buddy gave me a spool of phone wire left oer from when att re wired his house .....pat on the back?.....comments?......advice?

Sounds like ya did good. You should be able to get more for the phone wire than scrap.
This is the start if you stay with it you will be surprised where you end up. Keep reading the old theads and you will know what to do with some of that. Mike.

li-ion batts are bring some good money...around .75 to 80+ cents a pound.

Thanks guys i know its not much but i have quite a collection going for just starting out, have a little of everything, and i is proud! Wanna know what im hoarding? Lol... Just trying to learn and make money. I used to make fun of guys with trailers full of junk saying things like look there making beer money! Sorry.
Once you said that to me...I would simply reply back....and lot of beer money along with truck and house payments =)
