Garage sale/ home visit paying off

Hit my first estate sale on sat. House was packed ceiling to floors all rooms. Checked out the basement and got 12 elect mtrs 1/2 hp to 2 h/p, 15 gal pail of assrt wire, flat screen monitor and tower, and a few small elect appliances. The best part is the basement is loaded with # 1 steel !!!!!!!! Guy running the sale said I would have to come back to speak with owner about the steel cause he didnt know how to price it. I know that the contents of house didn't sell so I am hoping to get a clean out job for the entire house from the owner. Figured why make an offer to middle man when I can go to the source.
Made a visit to local home today cause I have been getting tv's from this spot the last two weeks on trash runs. Rang bell and spoke to women there gave her a flyer and picked up a clean out job for two of her sheds. Loaded with all kinds of power tools and aluminum bldg studs. Also there is a 25 ft RV and a 15 ft camper that she wants out of yard. I don't handle anything that big so I pm'd another guy on this forum who maybe can. If I don't hear back by wed i will post it for someone on here if they r interested.

I won't be wronged. I won't be insulted. I won't be laid a-hand on. I don't do these things to other people, and I require the same from them.” John Wayne-- The Shootist

Started the shed clean out today...spent 3 hrs and took 800# of light iron mixed scrap and filled a 40 gallon bag with #2 insulated wires. Had to leave some behind because my brothers pickup was full. Starting on second shed tomorrow and lady wants us to empty her back room of house also. Looks like we r going to be there for a while with steady stream of scrap coming in.

from what I can see from the outside there are at least 2 to 3 dozen aluminum 2 x 4 studs laying a cross the ceiling rafters. After the first one today anything is possible. Gamedayron is gonna check out a 35 rv that the lady wants to get rid of so I hope it works out for him too.

Well finished second shed yesterday, not as productive as first thought. But did offer the lady rent on the 10x12 shed we first cleaned out and she is cool with it. 50 bucks a month and use of her elect outlet on side of her house. Its a good price for up here considering storage unit is getting 100 per month for a 5x10.She also is also letting us clean out first floor of house that is packed with file cabinets, tv's,micros, bikes...rv didn't work out for gamedayron will keep my eyes open for other vehicles for him.
