    How much did i make!?!?

Noob here, lookin for the pros who use the awesome little scales(im sure they'd have a general idea) on how much this stuff weighs/ about how much i made.. ($$im rich right!!?$$)

GrlFnd was gonna toss a old alarm clock she'd had since a kid and i was like.. NO!!!! lol
    took 30 minutes.

Left to right- the magnetic stuff.. probly not enough to matter at the moment..
the copper wire, brass(??) prongs, and inductor/transthingy.. penny is for compairison only!!! lol its not even a copper penny.

Too soon to ask such questions. Keep tearing things apart and seperating into different materials. When the GF can take it no longer its almost time to take it to the scrap yard. Any less than a trunk full is not enough to take unless its all copper, al or brass. Mike.

highly doubtful. My money is on Brownboard in an alarmclock.

If its all about competition why is there a forum dedicated to teaching scrappers that are now or will eventually be our competition? Ill tell you why. We all start at the bottom but how far you go and how big you become is all in your own hands and hard work. I know I was making money well before I found this site. In fact the money aspect is what made me search for more information on what I was doing to see if there was anything I was missing. I have learned a lot from this site and in that everyone on here is educating their competition. But as stated above if you don't use this information to the best of your ability then what kind of competition are you?

As another stated. I would suggest cutting the cord, smash the alarm closk with a hammer and grab the transformer and whatever else can be grabed with little to no effort. Throw the rest away. Appx time, 1 min. Then spend the other 29mins finding new materials.

Lets assume you made .50 cents.
Your method: 30 mins to make .50 or $1 per hour.
New method: .35 in one min or $21 per hour

Yeah, but does he have another 59 alarm clocks?
I know lying is wrong, but if the elephant man came in now in a blouse with some make up on, and said, "How do I look?" Would you say, bearing in mind he's depressed and has respiratory problems, would you say, "Go and take that blusher off you mis-shapened elephant tranny?" No. You'd say, "You look nice... John""

Lol thx for all the replies. This was more of a time waister/for fun i should have mentioned. I usually mess with bigger things only like tvs, microwaves, some vcrs, i've done a washer. But im gettin addicted to gettin every little tiny peice of metal...kinda "filling in" my scrap pile, was just curious how much this "time waister" made. lol, but yeah im guessin only 25-50 cents?

SO..whats exactly is this "shred" pile i keep reading about? At first i thought it was just junk steel iron tin.. does it matter if theres plastic mixed in? I have a washer drum with a plastic drum around it thats attached by a weld spot and wasnt sure if i should fight with it or not. I guess i could call my yard n ask...but i never get around to it. lol. The back of my ranchero is almost full to make my first trip and i dont wanna act like a total noob@$$ lol.
