Forum Tip got me some extra cash today!

This week, I picked up a complete, but weathered 1971 Honda dirt bike. Before this forum, I would have dropped it off at the scrap yard on the way home. But I called around and found a guy that buys old bikes and he bought it from me for $75. $75 is way better than scrap price. And the guy was really excited to get the bike! Always look for potential buyers on stuff you pick up and see if there is a market for things before just scrapping them. You can make a lot of extra money. It surprising what collectors will buy.

Utah, I wonder if the guy you sold the bike to repairs them and if so he might have some broken motorcycle scrap for you.

    I look everything up anymore.

Funniest was this random box of junk. While sorting through it I found 3 sealed packages of vintage 70's "sanitary belts", had them in my hand to pitch in the trash and said WTH, I'll look them up.

I have no idea why someone would collect them or want them, and I don't really want to know why.

They sold for a little over $75.00

Why, to be a display in the Museum of Menstruation and Women's Health, of course.
