    Today's pick up

Well today I was a bit disappointed. One of the places I pick up from said they had a bunch of stuff for me to pick up. They did indeed have stuff but they left it in a big messy pile out back, in the rain, and mixed in with cardboard boxes and other random things. It was not my idea of a pick up, maybe I expect too much but if you are calling me about stuff at least have it out of the rain and all the computer parts in a different pile from the other trash.

I mean overall I shouldn't complain the pick up was fairly decent... some motherboards, memory, lcd monitors, and a few laptops

Of course I didn't say anything though, because I didn't want to be rude.

Unfortunately you have to take the bad with the good. Say the wrong thing and they will just call the next guy on the list! Of course you can always educate them over time. Never hurts to drop off coffee and donuts either...

Hey, I'd take it! Computer stores around here never call me back with their junk, so I pick through their garbage in all kinds of weather in front of passing cars, looking like a homeless person. Love of scrap has no pride, lol.

Or you could find out from them if you can drop off a tote with your name and phone # on it and they could put "your junk" in it. The trash co. I get computers from put a small dumpster out back and I just go check it from time to time.

I offered to let them keep a plastic bin i had in the back of my car they decline. I didn't want to seem pushy so I will just take it as it comes Keep my disappointment to myself if things are a mess and wet and just smile and thank them.

Yeah that's why I didn't say anything I don't want them to call the next guy on the list. I figure I can smile and nod and just keep my annoyance to myself. I offered to give them a plastic container they declined and i didn't want to be pushy so I will take the bad with the good.
