Digital or analog, it don't matter to the antenna, a signal is a signal. Yes they do still sell them clear up to $150.00

If you have the wiring still in tact hook it up toa Flat Screen TV and you'll be amazed at how many channels you get over the air for Free!

We have a set of Rabbit ears hooked up to our LCD TV. We get about 8 channels, and then we stream and netflix anything else!

Some are better than others, If you are scrapping one. Some times you get lucky and they are all alum. Most of the time lots of steel with the alum so sell it as dirty after getting off the easy alum!

Netflix streaming content sucks. Especially the movies.

We (NZ) are changing to digital so I expect there will be a lot comming down off roofs soon.
I save the straight bits for metal tubing for projects & cut the bends & corroded stuff off & scrap them.

The centre bits, where the ali tubes connect, using steel bolt, are easy to scrap.
After breaking off the ali tubes, place the centre bits bolt over a vertical metal tube, about 1 1/2 inch dia, in a vice.
Then hold it there & using a tough metal punch (long 1/2inch dia capscrew from a engine) & hammer, punch the metal bolt down thru the ali parts.
Chuck the Ali parts in your Ali bin.
