    The Cops part 2

well i did the yard and as usual on my way home i'll hit dumpsters . I was doing very well on my trips , TILL as i am about to pull a 3 lb brass faucet from a trash type . it was 97% trash . Cop pulls up and says going threw dumpsters is illegal, He took lic # took other info and then i was able to go my way no ticket. I have permission at some but i look at all i can , In time i will be put out of this type of collecting , To good to be true i guess . The society really does not want people to find it free .
The town I was in is not the best - for sure wile the cop deals with me - Crack is sold a mile away.
Who am i really harming as i pull a old faucet from the trash.

Cops are tax collectors now. If he can write you a ticket that's money in the coffers. It costs money to bust drug dealers.

but there was no ticket issued. What was this officer getting at? Just being a **** head? If he was trying to uphold the law, wouldn't he have issued a ticket? Sounds odd to me.

Copper, check out your local ordinances for sure.

Something you can do is simply call up the cops and ask them the laws on trash as you feel someone is steeling your trash and you want a cop to sit there and make sure no one "steals" it. I can bet you they will say that if its out by the street and in the trash its not trash and its legal for anyone to take. Just have a tape recorder with you and you should be just fine.

A the cops cant say its legal one day and not the next.

P.s....if you GET a cop to sit outside your house to find the trash taker....take a video and post it for us to see....that will be funny as hell...cops watching trash.

True no ticket , Broom County NY . If i get permission he did say its OK so he was being a decent guy, I go into many containers for like one item & little by I collect still they are out to end it. Look really a store owner will not allow me to go into his trash for fear of getting sued if i get hurt if i really want to continue i need consent forms address and some kind of waver of no fault and who's trash is it really , the container company who no way they want me to lighten the load

#1. it is all about control

#2 busting crack dealers can be hasardus to their health thats why they prefer to thaze 85 year ol ladys in their beds.

not all cops are bullys, but the trend is to hire snake eaters these days, got to fill the street with SWaT types all part of the plan.

the supreme cort has ruled that curb trash picking is legal, coverd under maritime salvage laws. I will do some research and find the law for you.

how ever even if it is legal the supreme court, the constitution, and bill of rights can no longer protect you, they have been declared null and void by todays rulers.
