    Packed High

My mini van / Chevy Venture is packed high but tight on roof full length and 3.5 ft high 500 to 600 lb , it's holding , I will be driving to yard in the morn . Inside of car jambed also . car is OK if i drive slow . What constitutes as overloading car ?
I am worried i will get pulled over

I've never heard of a mini van getting pulled over for being overweight.

Throw a tarp over it. You should see the scrappers around here. They have plywood 8ft high for side boards. I've only seen one pulled over to me it looked like a taillight out. I use 24" side boards I stand all kinds of stuff up beyond the board ht. Don't give em a reason to pull over and you'll be fine.

i'd think inside your driver door would be a label giving gvw, if they wanted to make any claims, that's probly what they'd use

they might also take note if they see you sitting in a vw, with a bundle of plywood on the roof, and 2 busted axles ; )

I'll give it a run , I went to a dumpster and there was a whole mess of metal there and car was full already the GC wants la bat blue @ 30 . And I am catching on a 30 pack seems to be a generic way to pay many people . He also gave me 30 lb AL tracks (new) This was a good day out of the blue
even found a 36 lb bat.

As long as nothing looks like it's gonna fall or doesn't fall out, your good. But always use straps as a precaution. If something falls out you'll get a FSL Ticket. Failure to secure load.

This constitutes an over weight vehicle.

Unless your car is dragging bumper or riding on the fender/tire, I'd say you're probably okay.

Day went well hit $300 - driver side front tire got flat - I plugged it but plug kept falling out . Bought 2 used tires $20 each installed & balanced. No matter what money is made gotta spend it . Some times hard to find a job BUT I find Metal.

Around here if you're using a van for heavy hauling purpouses you have to register it as a truck

    Yes, even mini-vans
