Cory, before you buy your plasma cutter, find someone who has the identical model and talk to them. Check with welding shops if you have to but talk to at least one real person.

Finished up with the windings. Ended up with 132 pounds of copper and it took right at 2 hours, or 4 hours start to finish. So it yields about 33 pounds an hour. Just wish I had that many to do every day instead of every week!

I discovered that if I don't 'strike' the plasma cutter in open air
(ie, I never strike it except when the arc is actually going to strike against the work metal)
and that I don't get the tip too close to the workpiece when working
(avoiding any blowback against the tip).

That my tips can last several (4+?) times longer than if anyone else used the same cutter.

**** man. That had to be some seriously big compressors...132 lbs....wow. Never got that out of 50 fridge compressors....lol..hmm. Im doing something wrong... Oh and yes I always shut my tanks off when done. Even started opening the o2 valve all the way after reading that o2 can bypass the orings unless open fully....
