    how nice are ur neighbors????

Mine have been generous lately..Well Ive been living in my townhouse now for over a year..I have a two car deep garage..different indeed...different area so the two to my sides have been vacant up till about a month ago..I work second shift so don't get to speak with them too often..but I have let them know about my night job..this past Tuesday when I got home there were 2 towers n a grill sitting behind the bushes..today I get home n have a 3 bags full of aluminum cans a tower n 2 laptops..I have a lot of neighbors that I've talked to..but I don't know who has dropped this stuff considering I was on vacation for a bit n work so late..I'll find out eventually buts its pretty cool..definitely ebe shoveling some driveways next winter..or sharing some brews..SOOO get out there n let em knowi if u haven't already..gl all

O what made me think of this was my neighbor threw two aluminum folding chairs at me when I arrived home n ended up buying an old grill for 20 bucks...yup same one that was left in my bushes..lol

My neighbors never throw out any good stuff. One has a yard jammed with old rusting junk and he has finally decided to part with it and clear it out but he is taking it all to the yard with his sons help.

My neighbors arent great, but I have some pretty nice friends.I am always finding bags of cans on the trailer in the front yard along with the odd tvs on the porch. Have even had a couple washers and a dryer dropped off in the front yard for me.My favorite yard find was the night I came home to find a 72ish inch old projection tv sitting there.

My neighbor cleaned out his house of electronics and scrap for me over the years. He gets first pick on anything I find usually for free, or trade for his old one. In return he cooks me meals multiple times a week. I will be scrapping and it will be 3 in the afternoon no breakfast or lunch yet and he brings me over food, fresh bread, etc.

Well everyone, it's with a heavy heart to report that just a few hours after I wrote this, I received a visit from the police after they received complaints from a neighbor. I keep everything under tarps (one on a 7x20 pile in the back yard against the house, and one on working stock on a trailer), and have constructed a shed to start keeping excess material out of sight. I regularly work in the driveway during the day since I like a little sunshine on my shoulder, but it looks like I will have to work in a closed garage for the forseeable future. Through the open records act I have requested the name of the neighbor so I can attempt to tailor some activities to the coming and going of the person who filed the report.

Looks like it might be time to modify my business plan.

That is ridiculous..sry to hear that erewen..what did the cops say..as long as u have most of the stuff in ur shed I don't think there is much they can do...as far as working in the driveway I am unsure...I hate to draw too much attention from ppl that I don't know n don't want to know so I keep my garage closed at all times...gl finding out who the rat is..

I got yall beat. Dep got called at me in my trailer park claiming I was running a junkyard. Dude never got out of his car, just rode by, and told the landlord everything was fine.

Next step was a petition by the nighbors to get me removed for junk in my truck and some garbage outside that waste management did'nt pick up.. There was talk I was going to get evicted, but haven't seen/heard anything official from a magistrate.

I look at it like this. I paid my rent in advance 6 months when I moved in here. I had full permission from the landlord and it was understood what I do. The dep cleared me, so they can take their petition and shove it. Take me to the magistrate..doubt he will do ****.

Fought them for years. Now I have the money to hire a lawyer and I never hear from them anymore. Been so busy lately though that it is time again to do some spring cleaning and start on the 8 skids of ac units in the way!

I did find that most of the laws of this nature are vague and porly written. Stand up for yourself in a respectful manner.

Just tell them that YOU are making a living, unless the complaining party wants to pay YOUR bills?

Nah they just give me stuff cause they are nice. And they get first dibs on anything computer related i find. Already set one up with a tower desk and chair for 2 motors and a box of wire. I rather keep my neighbors happy.
