You think that is bad...weismans....in scranton, pa is a bunch of thieving jews.....bums..whatevr.

Last time (I got hit for 25 lbs for trash. When I asked wtf did I throw off was trash, they wouldnt answer me Asked 4 different people.

Then saturday I heard some talk someone was getting paid for carbide at 5 a lb. So I inquire and they have another price list...that is not pubicly available. But they wouldnt give it to me and then they got snotty when I wouldnt let it go, being adamant I wanted it.They just said to go to the metal shop and they they started screaming at me they had other customers, and didst have time for me. Just go to the metal shop.

Wtf gives...I'm in there weekly, sometimes daily, sometimes 3x a day, since they opened. Hell I was running the scale before they officialy got there and bootsie was running their scale taking stuff into his yard.

I really want to know whats on the list. Oh and this happened 2 weeks ago. I was standing there and a guy was dumping shearable in the shred. I walked quietly like a ninja and whispered to him, hey ya know thats shearable. Well they told me to dump it here. Well they fing ya man, go in the office and *****.

Not even 5 mins later Steve was over reaming me out saying that he didnt need my help and mind my own biz. Dont know how heard the convoy unless he a ninja..lol.

Funniest thing is i still go there and put up with it, mostly due to convience sake and also best paying here in Scranton, Pa/ So ya aint the only one getting fricked.,...

Oh and weisman metal shop prices suckes. You can run down the street to elmwood and get higher prices on everything especially if you dont have the min weisman wants.

Its really bugging me this mystery price list. I wonder what I have threw in the shred that actually buy..like speaker magnets...

Copper, not sure how big an area you live in, but if you have a TV station, you may be able to get them to set up a sting. Newspaper may be interested as well. That would be great!

Of course the state may want to know about it. They may have more reports from the same place and your report woulf be the final straw to get them to check it out.

BBB, Better Business Bureau, They actually don't do much except call and ask a few questions but your complaint will be on public file for anyone to see.

I am one of those who check Google and BBB to see what people say. That is one thing I should have done to the yard that shorted me years ago.

I like to handle things up close and personal, but at my age and condition im not what I used to be, guess thats why I end up on the short end these days. that said. Im not a big fan of the Obummer/socialist/lib thing, but they love to go after companies. here they actually have a ligitimate reasion for once. might try to see if they will stand up for a ligit stand up guy.

If this was me. I would buy a camera wrist watch on ebay for $60. Also seen the camera in a hat thing. Bring another load in and record him treating you this way. You could post on youtube or call media. This is illegal and he could sue you for recording him. On public property would be different.

I went back today I had my young kids , wife . We had gone to the dentist near by ,& all day it was irking me , giving my metal out for free, My wife said lets just go there so i did we debated but i feel looking at my young kids caused the owner to give in. he gave me $20 more. Wile i am not happy with the scenario, it's all in the fight. Also I am not here to ultimately bad mouth that yard business is business & I am sure most people are happy with that yard. The yards money is still good just a cut throat business nothing personal
    -------------
See how peaceful I get once i get the money that was meant to be mine , Now I am happy and no ill-will

The yard people have taught me how 1 lb means the world to them they fight for each pound
    so why shouldn't I
Lets look at the real picture . A yard can easily have 150 customers a day @ 6 days (yards by me are open 7 days a week)
    so skim a $10 spot from 150 customers = $1500 per day & $1500 X 6 = $9000
    and a month is 4 weeks and some months are 5 weeks so $9000 X 4.2 weeks = $37,800.00
I generally do let a pound slide here and there But the metals we find are resources with out side forces trying to stop people like me from pulling from the curb, so its all really valuable to me

    ---------------------------------------------------------------
If any one reads the start of my post I said the copper was in a bucket weighing 6 lbs .8 oz I meant to type 5 lb 8 oz or average it to 6

I don't nit pick over pennies..but I will raise the roof over someone treating me like crap, and literally taking $$ that's mine.

$10..$1...$0.50....lie to me, call me names, steal from me....You'll never hear the end of it.
