Negativity - Page 3

Actually last night a guy I used to work with called me. Haven't worked with him for about 6 years. He asked what Ive been up to. I said I've been scrapping. He says " Come on bro, What are you doing that for? Don't degrade yourself." I said What!? There is nothing wrong with that. Ive been making some good money. He laughed and said what? 10 bucks. I said no, I Can fill my Chevy with just Iron in about a week and a half and can get between 175.00 and 155.00 Or if I bring in alum,copper,ect ( In the GREYTRUCK )I can make about 200 or 250.00 a trip. He said wow! I didn't know there was that much money in it.

Also Ive been called everything under the sun by the crazy people who stare out there window waiting for someone to go threw there scrap they toss out. I once saw a gutter barely sticking out of a garbage can. When I went to take the lid off to get it out the whole can was full of iron / aluminum scrap. Awesome! I'm taking it out and a man starts banging on his window screaming and pointing at me. I threw my arms up to say sorry. He came running out the house. " You A**H**** are always making a mess that's why I hid that stuff and bla bla bla. I said sorry, I wont be back. He calls me a piece of S*** and I honked, waved and drove away. The next guy he yells at might not put up with his crap and kick his butt.
