    Decent scores garbage picking today.

There is a house around the block that is empty and for sale. Every once in a while there is a bunch of garbage outside by the road on garbage day. When I say garbage, I don't mean trash, I mean stuff that looks like cleaning out a house.

This is at least the 4th time over a few months that I have had this pile to pick. First time was a box crammed full of cables and cords. Nice score there along with some other goodies.

2nd and 3rd time i picked a few odd items and a few things worthy of scrapping, but today was the best score there so far.

I was with my buddy and we saw the pile. We tore into not making a mess. We got an armload of scrap stuff with cords as well as some other loose cords and doo-dads.

I grabbed a big old box full of softwareMost boxes were empty, but there were enough full to grab the box and look throught it later. Found a bunch of medical stuff that may have some value, and then the (for now we will call it) "mystery bag". I know what it is but not telling yet.

I get home and find several software titles that will get $1 each at the garage sale my neighbor is having Saturday as well as a few other $2 and $5 goodies for the sale. Then there were a few that sell regularly on e-bay for over $100 total.

The mystery bag. I have not gone through it thouroughly yet, but it seems to be at least 50 or more old 8mm porn films. All in great condition in their original boxes. I am hoping there is a collector market for these. Going to keep looking, but found nothing on e-bay yet.

If anyone has an outlet for these, let me know please.

I found the adult section. Looks like these are worth anything from $2 each and up. I just looked through them and there are a total of 54. So basically I nabbed an over $200 garbage pick just a block from the house.

    Cha-ching!
