Some Office Chairs

I got a dozen of these from my Facilities manager today. We had been talking about them for a couple weeks and i arranged to drive my truck and keep the evening open to break them apart after work and use the company's dumpster for the rest. He also gave me an old microfiche machine with a built in printer. That thing could be fun. i will have to get photos of that one too.



Here is the before and after. each one had 14 Phillips screws holding the pads on. once i got the 6 out of the bottom, i could remove a single plastic panel from the bottom and then pull the plastic panel away from the back where it was snapped in with plastic clips. this part i did with my bare hands and then a couple of more screws and the whole pad slid right off.

Guess im lucky i get to leave the cushion on. love taking in my chairs after a few days of rain

Hit the legs with a magnet. Had one lying around that was cast aluminum.
