    water heater gas valve ?

I broke down to gas water heaters and am wondering if the copper that comes out of the brass fitting would be number 1 or 2 copper? I threw it in my number 2 bucket.

It will go in #2 because of the solder. If you will sweat them apart you can soak them in some HCL and remove the solder but it probably isn't very cost effective just for a few cent's raise in return's for getting #1 copper
We buy electronic scrap, Gold Karat scrap, gold filled, refined gold, silver and many other item's.

Cut the pipe off where the solder starts so you get a clean pipe at Copper1. throw the solder part in the copper2 bucket
