Breaking down and converting a popup

First, im sorry if im posting in the wrong category.

Second, yes, I know this gets covered from time to time, but I couldnt find all the info im looking for...

So I found a gutted pop up on cl for $200. Looked good, and cheapest ive found for a utility trailer. When I looked again, the ad was gone. Groovy.

So, I post an ad for a free to cheap pop up. I get an email, lady has one with a good frame and tires for $100. I figured there was a little money to be made off of the upper half, prob not enough to clear $100, but to get a little money back.

Disposing of the wood/insulation/garbage is no issue, I can do it for free legally. Ive read, jowever that.the refridgeraters in these are designed differently? Is it possible to be evacd?

What are ANY areas of concern to look out for?

For guys that have done this, did you reinforce the lower half in any way? Or the floor?

Do they pull decent stripped out?

Basically im looking for a cheap trailer option. I have access to two utility trailers, but one pulls like crap over 35mph, and the other is in bad need of repair...needs welding and the wood floors replaced. I offered to buy that one from my brother for what he paid for it, and fix it, but he wont sell it. Any other trailers around here under.$300 are junk...

Put the fridge on CL. I sold a unit out of a travel trailer for $20. Buyer pulled it himself. I made it clear that I have no idea if it works and he was okay with that.

Don't cut into that fridge. It's not freon in it, it's amonia nitretrate something rather. Very dangerous stuff in those camper fridges.

As for pop up trailers. We have on in our fleet of 5 trailers. We use it for doing our route daily as it is easy to pull will handle a decent load. We usually put heavy stuff in truck and big bulky light stuff in trailer.

I'll be the first to admit, it ain't me dude. If you look way down below after your post goes up on the forum you will see a few posts possibly similar to yours. This is a newer feature added, but some of the older stuff I go searching the dusty shelves for the gems,,, LOL

I'd like to see how an old boat trailer would work, utilizing the "tilt" feature to unload
