juke boxes

so i just got a call to go pick up 2 juke boxes on friday. i searched here and cldnt find anything on them. has anyone ever tear one apart? is there anything good in them? idk if they play cd's or records. all i know is the guy had them for a year trying to sell them on craigslist and wont sell.

I've gutted a few CD players. There's a large transformer, some wiring, a few low grade boards, and the speakers. I would just assume the components would just be bigger?

I found a Rockola one last fall, it appears to be all there but it was in 2 pieces so I've seen the inside. It's a 1970's something version and appears to have tons of goodies inside it. It's been sitting in the garage, still back an forth as to see if I could sell it for parts or keep it and see if we could make it work again.

looks like they'd sell to go in family/party/entertainment rooms

if they won"t sell there is a reason for that

the cd ones are a dime a dozen the record ones have HUGE collectabliilty even just for parts

I'd have no clue what a tube amp is but I'll take a few pics and if I have a part you'd need I'd be interested in getting rid of it.

HArd to miss a tube anything. You will see a bunch of plug in little glass "tubes" inside.

i have an old tube stereo, it was old when i gave $2 for it about 1975. It's laying on the ground in a barn that's all but fallen down. Some of the wood has mostly rotted, and it's been kicked around by wayfaring cattle, but the tubes are still there

Thanks for the pic. There was a bunch of these in an old radio I got once, they had an aluminum tube that slid over top of them. These ones were probably about 3-4in. tall and about 1 1/2in round.
