Scrapping TVs and CRT

I have been searching for posts on TVs and CRT since I may be getting more of these. I just have a quick question I guess if I can only recycle metal at this time the copper and electrical wires is what i want correct? I know that this probably needs to be disposed of with some care so I don't know if I should be messing with it.

I've ran into both. Some degausing wires are copper, some aluminum. Got to cut them and look to see. I've been stripping the copper degausing wires and taking them in as bare copper.

Are you getting #1 prices for them? Just curious for when I take my load of them in.
