Thanks, I'll try the Goodwill first, there is one in a bigger town about 20 miles away that is always in the CL freebs. Might as well
troll the area if I'm gonna be there.
Re the TV break down, I always break down the transformers, but haven't taken apart the 'flyback'. I did smash one tho and noticed copper inside. I'm the kind of guy that if I had a vise and a sawzall, I'd do them too LOL!
I have plenty of time and bored as all get out, and pass the time busting everything down to the smallest parts. Hopefully, in the future, if things pick up I wont have to.
One question tho..I accidentally broke the end of one TV while unplugging the connector from the tube, and heard like something escaping from it, that's not a good thing to be breathing huh? I already got sick from all the chemicals I was exposed to during my auto tech days, don't want to add to my health problems!
