this is my first time and im really confused.i would really appreciate someones help with this ive got three computer towers ive taken apart but what do ido next how do i seperate the different pieces. i also have another motherboard i left out of the picture

i know ive read that already what im wondering is is there anything else i should do to theses and how do i seperate them to take them to the yard.
It looks like you haven't taken the processor chips out of the motherboards yet. I separate minr like this:
Motherboards
Processors
Finger cards
Ram
Power supplies w/wire
Hard drive boards
CD/DVD boards
Floppy drive boards
Heat sinks

Pull those boards off the hard drives and open them up and take out the platters. I would also break down the floppy and cd/dvd drives along with the power supplys .
I forgot BR is buying hard drive platters for a buck a pound.

Do take off those processors from the motherboard. I see one of them is an AMD ceramic which is $40lb from some buyers on SMF, as you'll notice on here alot quantitiy is the key. Good luck with your endeavors.

Alright see the graphics card? To the left of the topmost motherboard. That black thing on top, its probably aluminium. Unscrew it, it usually requires a normal Philips screw driver. Sometimes there's a long flat piece of copper inside of it. It may take some work, but you can remove it but prying on the bottom of it with a flat tip screw driver. Make sure to dismantle the power supplies, (the thing with loads of wires coming out). Inside there is a board, and about 2 pieces of thick aluminium plus all of the copper wiring that comes with it. There are also thick copper cords wrapped around some circular objects (i dunno graphite?) they are soft and can be destroyed easily with a hammer. ALWAYS cut the gold fingers on the cards that inject themselves into the motherboard, they are gold plated and can fetch a good price with amateurs working with gold on the internet. Dismantle the floppy and DVD drives, OR sell the DVD drives on Ebay. I read they can get a lot. Cut the gold connectors off of the RAM as well. Hope this helps :]

if the haard drives are 40gb or larger you will do better reselling them than scrapping them, we have buyere here that buy good used hard drives

Do not cut the fingers off of the ram memory, I'm not sure who buys them that way.
There was a post about which cards to remove the fingers from. Smaller ones not worth the time, bigger ones only.
The circular "thingie's" are coils and chokes and the wire is wrapped around ferrite, after you bust it then take the ferrite and throw it in with the shred.
