    question about scrapping microwaves

    I've read on a few posts around here about people taking apart microwaves and the such. Is this safe? I don't know too much about the inner workings of these things.

    LOL. Just Kidding. Never had an issue with it yet. Taken apart over 40 now.

    The only thing to worry about is if the capacitor is still holding a charge, never had one that was though.

    Otherwise theres over 1 Kg of Copper in there.....
