    Me either but the other day one of my yard guys was telling me the cable ends weren't brass though they clearly showed yellow when ground. He also told me that not all power cord ends were brass and I had too many mixed in with my brass even though they clearly showed yellow. *Sighs* Some days it seems better to stay in bed lol.



    To the OP, mine pays 75 cents a lb with plugs left on and 75 with plugs cut off so its up to you. sometimes I feel like yanking the brass out of the plugs and sometimes I dont.

    that sounds pretty frustrating.
    I was stopped at the scale for sort of the same thing. I had about a pound of prongs mixed in with my other brass and the guy working the scales told me they were steel and not brass...
    I had to take them out of the bucket and explain to him what they were, showing him more closely. I ended up getting a second opinion from someone else at the yard and of course sold them as brass.
    it dosnt matter what color they are, they all go in the brass bucket.
