    Dismantle Board?????

I have about 40 of these boards. Not much there except some capacitors, 1 flatback, a little copper, and the port.

Are these worth shipping??? (at least mid grade?)

I decided to see if there were gold pins in the port. After a few wacks the a hammer.........

These were very thin and light. I just wiggled them back and forth to make the come off.

This whole process took about 90 seconds. Should I be trying to sell these boards or should I just try to get the gold pins out and call it a day?

You should have left them on the MB. It looks like a power regulator for a cpu.

The majority of them came out of network switches. They were in a slot sticking out the middle of the board. You most likely are correct that I should have left them on, at the time I though they fell in the "excess that needs to be removed" category. I need to do something with them now. Any thoughts?

Either send a message to jghilino or wait for him to pop in. He is always saying to take them off and can get $100 a pound for the gold pins.

Collect enough of those pins and sell on e-bay, or maybe a Forum buyer would be interested.
