Apple old All-in-one

I picked up some old apples for .50 a piece in an auction. I posted some pictures of my breakdown so if you are not familiar with these POS computers you will know what to expect.

The first victim..............


On the back you remove the 1 screw by the handle.



The back cover pops off.





You will see what lookes like a handle where you remove 2 screws.



Then remove the connectors.



The tray holding the MB pulls out.





A couple screws and the MB comes out.



The metal cage just pops off.

Now you can remove the memory, heat sink, processor, ect...









Two screws and the CD lifts out.



Under the CD is a hard drive that just lifts out.



The good stuff....



The MB only was 8 ounces.

This breakdown took me about 5 mins with me taking pictures. As I break down the monitor parts I will add more pictures.

I know several people that only break these down as much as I did in the pictures, pop the plastic cover back on, and the rest goes to GoodWill. I thought it was super simple and quick. If you are going to break them down further it is more of a headache.

I have also taken the 3 screws out and pulled the MB tray on the curb leaving the rest for the trash man, it depends on what mood I'm in and how big the pile is at home.
