    Maximizing RAM value

I thought I would post the results of my shipment of mostly RAM to Terry (PTS). I sent about 25 pounds of RAM last friday to Terry. Most of it was 512M and less. About 6 pounds of it was 1G. The end result was a return of right at 22.00 a pound after postage. I am thinking that this is an easy way to maximize my return on my investment! Looking forward to getting another shipment off to him in a few weeks. Kudo's to a great scrap buyer!!!

1 G in pairs goes on ebay for about $14 - $20 / a pair of sticks. Selling'em by pound - big mistake.
    $22/lb for lower Ram's = I think is a very good price.

    Greetings.

Thanks freon for the kind words. Kazko he diodnt sell them by the pound. I paid him by the piece for the 1gb sticks. His average was $22 a pound for everything he sent me. Some people hate ebay and thats why I specialize in paying more than scrap value for certian things. I dont mind ebay and this is why I offer my services to the forum.

Gearge, 2.00 a stick of 1G that tested good. Works out to around 48.00 a pound. Makes a difference when you buy pallets of towers at a time. The RAM alone paid for the whole lot of computers I bought.
