Actually it looks rather compact for a comfortable living quarters, but I'd think it might do well as a tour boat or private charter if there's a demand for such things. I'd paint that engine room white too, lights it up a lot

I'd loose the "bag of cats" remark, maybe that would sound funny around a campfire with some drinkin buddies, but not likely a great sales line

"Last haul out was three years ago, so she needs the bottom paint renewed." ?? You gotta paint the BOTTOM of that thing every three years?
Sorry about your disability, but was it a surprise that it happened in 3 years, as in an accident or something ? Not my business (or the forums) but sounds rather sketchy at best as a sales pitch

I was already watching that sale on E-Bay. I just wish it was on the East coast. You can always find a large old boat pretty cheap because of the cost of ownership. As mentioned before you can't jsut grab a torch and start cutting. There were a few Candaian Minesweepers for sale a while back (I thing about 125 ft long or so). They had been mothballed and were in fair condition. The superstructure was aluminum, they were wood with aluminum frames and had lots of brass and copper. Boats could have been purchased for less that $10k each. A marine scrapper finally bought them...
