    I will probably get screamed at for this but I stop breaking down my motors unless they are of the substantial kind. I use my math background and number crunching analysis for my decision. When you check the current price of copper, the weight of the motor and the amount of work involved in breaking it down, 80% of them are not worth breaking down. To spend time on them is to take away from time you could be doing something more valuable or finding more scrap.
