    Industial contactors for electric motors.

    I have found x8 nzm6-200 Moeller units &
    X14 NZMS4-63 Moeller units his one Genuine New Moeller Circuit Breaker NZMS4 63 8000V 63A New in Box Mint | eBay





    I will break them down, the one price I found was NZ$350 new so I don't think it'd be worth much 2nd hand

    I worked out last night that theres over 77grams of the silver contacts in the whole lot. Its a brittle silver block though.. I dunno what its composed of.

    I just thought I'd chuck in some info about another product that uses Silver.

    Its called 'Pour 'n go' & made by 'Gutterwitch', its a Kiwi brand product that you pour into a drinking water tank to kill germs etc.

    Its got 90g/Litre Hydrogen peroxide & 12mg/L Silver. Not a lot of Silver but if it becomes common to use Silver to kill germs it may be a sign of things to come.

    Silver dose not kill germs but germs can not grow on silver. Silver has been used for centries to reduce germs on medical tools and silverware.

    If the contacts are brittle then they have tungsten in them. If they bend then they are most likely 80% silver. If it has a waffle pattern on one side of the contact then they are tungsten. If so then the recovery is only about 40-50% silver.

    i have about 30 moeller breakers in stock, the smaller ones, ive looked up prices and completed listings and there dosent seam to be much activity, i think theyre either going to get sold as a lot of scrapped out for copper/brass and silver contacts
