    tip for breaking down cdroms dvdroms

    I break these down to get the boards, motors and steel. But did you know most have strong little magnet in the flat plastic piece on the steel case? The magnet is where you pry the round plastic off the steel case. Then pry this plastic piece off the metal washer. Nice little magnets!

    That's all I need, more magnets. I have about 6 on my work bench and about 15 of them stuck to the inside of my truck bed. I just throw them in with the shred.

    copycat-while you're in there, check out the two little square magnets on each side of the floating laser eye.

    lol, I know what you mean, Ive got microwave magnets everywhere!! I even started putting them on my man door in the garage *facepalm*
