So I'm scheduled to pick up a rototiller on Monday, I've picked up just about everything but I've never had one of these. Is there anything I should get off or just turn it in whole?

Depends. Who are you and what kind of scrapper are you?
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.
i never scrap rototillers.if the motor turns over and has all the parts i leave it on and flea market them.if the motor looks real bad i remove it then clean up the rest of the tiller and take it to the flea market.as long as most all pieces are there some old man somewhere has been looking for a certain part off of it all summer
Fix it and then charge people to rototill gardens.
Your the King of Salvage-you should know the answer to that. If it was me I would take the motor off and sell it as irony-aluminum and the rest as shred. my.02
take it to your local small engine repair just like it is, and still get better than scrap price
I usually get $20-25. each for them at the local lawn mower shop. You'll only get half that or less at the yard.
