hi there I just wanted to put this out there .this is for all the e-scrappers out there.
if you get a lot of laptop heatsinks .don't just turn the in as copper alum rads.
if you break them down you can pull a lot of # copper from them.those flat copper tubes .if you separate them alone they are #2 copper

Excellent point on all heatsinks. Remember all will be at least aluminum...same for the smaller ones on the motherboard and video cards...but a ton are copper ad awell as copper tubing on higher end enthusiast boards and video cards.
I will say this though...99% of the time the laptop is worth more than scrap as a "parts" machine on ebay...always check there first.
