    Check to see if your roller is worn down. It may just need a good cleaning.

    I run old Dot Matrix paper through mine, along with label sheets.

    I'm one of those people that would pay more for an older workhorse. The new ones aren't any faster, but they're built cheaper.

    I ahve a 15+ year old printer, laser jet, next to me. Been running fine. Only bad thing I i had to install universal network drivers for it to work.
