    CRT TVs

I just took apart my first CRT TV (I think) and there is a ton of s**t inside. I have a couple questions though.

    1. Why does no one take these? Just take up too much room or weight when disposing of the rest?

    2. Is there anything i should watch out for that is different than a regular TV?
