    seprating brass

    So how does everone seperate there brass? Such as coax end clean or dirty?

    I get yellow brass for plated items . Clean normally means it is just brass without any ferrous parts. Then there is red brass also called plumbers brass.

    coax ends are dirty brass here, but I do separate them out and run them in eventually with my dirt door knobs and such

    I love brass its the quiet but bold metal everyone tosses that adds up fast. i do clean and dirty yellow and red but most I get is yellow

    Brass, like copper, is so very satisfying. But copper is much prettier in my eyes.

    I think there are like 4 grades of yellow. 30% to 90% ect. allows for certian levels of dirty.
