    Guess the weight!

I just picked up three 20 ton condensing units from a jobsite. Since they had been vandalized (copper and refrigerant missing) they were free. It took about 3 hours to get them tore down. Anyone want to guess the weigh of the clean cu/al radiators?

A little high Russell. The evaporator coils were 170 pounds. They went to the yard last week.

I've been averaging about 8k a week of shred right now. Should take off pretty quick with cooling season just starting. Already have about 400 tons of roof units to pick up in the next month. How are you doing?

Russell, the 170 pounds were from the inside air handlers. The pile in the picture are from the outside units.

The final number on the clean ACRs out of the condensing units was 371 pounds. The total weight of the ACR's was 541 pounds for the three 20 ton units. Even on big split systems I still average 9 pounds of ACR per rated ton.
