Here is some more food for thought to anyone who knows people in the car painting business or perhaps has a location upgrading their equipment or cleaning house . The sartorious paint terminal looks like not much all wrapped in its steel shell.
But underneath that heavy outer shell lies a nice 10 lb cast aluminum wrap around the very lightweight LCD screen.
Here is it separated into it's three main components . Top half of cast with glass, LCD screen, 7lb clean cast panel
But wait there is more . Underneath you will find some interesting boards . About a pound a unit
I wanted to point these out . The hate on tvs may make you not look twice at anything with a screen . This is further proof that tearing into something new can be knowledgeable and profitable . I tore these down with a flathead and a Alan key . I would recommend a impact to speed up volume . Also some nice gold pins,lil wire and more boards on the backs of the lcds . I finished with about 300 lbs cast . Bunch of stainless pieces and a few 100 pounds of steel . I did 30 in a day .
The scales and terminals have insane resale value but these were damaged by water so that was not a option.
Just remember to research before you tear down , could save some time and make more without touching a tool.
