    Large Servo motors

Are servo motors different enough from regular motors to affect the amount of copper in them? I picked up 5 and I need to decide if I should scrap them whole, or start breaking them down.

Sell them whole. Also you can always open one up to see whats inside of them. Keep all the nuts and bolts to put it back together if you think its not worth it.

See if they're AC or DC. Scratch the windings and see if they're copper or aluminum.

I generally like breaking down AC motors that have copper windings but i'm weird.

DC or aluminum sell as whole.
