    crutches

hey, i have like 6 pairs of crutches, and instead of turning them in as aluminum scrap, id like to rip off all the little odds and ends and turn em in for regular aluminum price but seems very time consuming without powertools?

anyone got any quick metho0ds they use for pulling off all the little steel odds and ends since im sure these are something people run into a lot

...also some of them are in good condition so im probably gonna put those up for sale on CL

Don't be too fast scrapping them. I sold a pair on CL for $10. People drove about 30 miles for them.

People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

I agree, depending on time of day or if it's the weekend people can't always wait to be seen by the doc or may have to pay more for them when they do see the doc.

People get hurt all the time, broken legs, twisted ankles, etc. Crutches are NOT cheap, but if they can find them cheaper than what the hospital will charge, or a medical supply store, then they will buy!
