    I test most of my stuff. TIme equals money. If the part tests good it can be worth alot more than scrap value.

    Are faceplates those silver things that attach the PCI card to the computer? The thing that goes over the place that you plug stuff in to?

    it takes 30 or 40 to make a pound, that's without the hole in it, just plain blanks. So if cards are $5 lb., you've done them a small favor, maybe they'll return it someway

    i'd just leave them off at this point Julie, have you done 30 or 40 of them? if so, that's only about a pound difference, @ i think about $4-5 lb. I'd think your buyer would either credit that or cut some slack in your favor in another area. At least I'd hope they'll be so kind

    I've been removing all the heasinks... On both the motherboards and video cards. The local buyer hear was complaining about them. Might have to try one of the buyers hear soon!
