Cut off a section with insulation on and weight it. strip it down to the copper and weight it again. Then you will have your answer.

60% recovery(600 lbs), larger romex may yield more. 14-3 romex I pay 60% content rate. Hope that answers your question. sean

Romex typically is 62-65% recovery. It just depends on the wire
